Vega(1936)

Created by Jacques Guerlain, Vega opens on aldehydes, African orange flower, and bergamot, moves through an elaborate heart of carnation, ylang-ylang, jasmine, rose, and iris, and closes on sandalwood, vanilla, and amber. Named for one of the night sky's brightest stars, it offers a rich aldehydic floral within Jacques Guerlain's 1930s output, composed in the years following his celebrated Shalimar and Vol de Nuit.
