Created by Jean-Paul Guerlain, Parure, Jewelry, opens on plum and bergamot, moves through a rose-and-hyacinth heart, and closes on oakmoss, sandalwood, and vanilla. Its plum-rose-oakmoss structure situates it within the fruity-chypre genre Edmond Roudnitska had helped mature with Femme and Diorella, applying Guerlain's own vanillic warmth to a chypre framework more commonly associated with rival houses.
