Bouquet de Faunes(1922)

A hyacinth-forward floral from Jacques Guerlain, opening on hyacinth and bergamot, moving through a heart doubling down on hyacinth alongside rose and orris, and closing on woods, musk, and vanilla. Bouquet de Faunes, Bouquet of Fauns, evokes the mythological woodland creatures of Greek and Roman legend, aligning it with the same pastoral, classically-inspired imagery Guerlain drew on across several 1920s releases. The doubled hyacinth, appearing in both the opening and the heart, gives the composition an unusually concentrated green-floral intensity for a Guerlain fragrance of this period. It represents one of Jacques Guerlain's lesser-known 1920s creations.
