What it smells like

Musk smells like warm skin and soft fabric: clean, gently sweet and slightly powdery, with a smooth, enveloping quality that seems to hover close to the body. Depending on how it is built, it can lean toward freshly laundered cotton, creamy and milky, or faintly animalic and intimate. It rarely stands out on its own; instead it blurs edges, adds softness and makes other notes last longer on the skin. It is a classic base note that gives a fragrance its lingering, comforting dry down.
