Tocade(1994)
Rochas · Maurice Roucel · Amber
Created by Maurice Roucel for Rochas, Tocade opens on bergamot and rose, moves through an overdosed rose-and-iris heart, and closes on vanilla, amber, musk, and benzoin. Roucel's dense, candied treatment of rose against a thick vanilla-benzoin base produced an unusually sweet, gourmand-leaning rose distinct from more traditional powdery or green rose compositions, and it remains one of Roucel's most distinctive and celebrated early works.
Tocade is a fragrance from Rochas, released in 1994 and composed by Maurice Roucel. It sits in the Amber family. It opens with Bergamot and Rose, moves into a heart of Rose and Iris, and settles into a base of Vanilla, Amber, Musk, and Benzoin.
