Parfum Sacre Eau de Toilette(1990)

Created by Dominique Ropion for Caron, Parfum Sacre opens on pepper, bergamot, and coriander, moves through an overdosed rose-and-jasmine heart, and closes on myrrh, incense, musk, and amber. Its unusually spicy, incense-laced rose structure, built by the same perfumer who would go on to create Ysatis and numerous other landmark fragrances, offered a bold, ceremonial reinterpretation of the rose genre distinct from softer, more conventional rose florals.
