Hypnotic Poison(2001)

Created by Annick Menardo for Christian Dior, Hypnotic Poison opens on bitter almond, apricot, and coconut, moves through a heart of jasmine, caraway, and tuberose, and closes on vanilla, sandalwood, musk, and tonka bean. Its dense, gourmand-oriental reinterpretation of the original 1985 Poison replaced that fragrance's spiced-fruit intensity with a warmer, almond-vanilla sensuality, and it remains one of the most distinctive bitter-almond compositions in modern perfumery.
