Coup de Fouet(1954)

A spiced composition from Michel Morsetti for Caron, opening on pepper and bergamot, moving through a heart of carnation, clove, and cinnamon, and closing on sandalwood, amber, and musk. Coup de Fouet, Whip Crack, suggests a sharp, bracing intensity consistent with its pepper-clove-cinnamon structure, offered as a smaller companion to the more elaborate Poivre released the same year.
