It opens on bergamot, moves through a rose-and-jasmine heart, and closes on the classic oakmoss-labdanum-patchouli base defining the genre. Arriving relatively late in the chypre family's development, it represents Guerlain's continued engagement with an established genre the house had already helped mature through Mitsouko decades earlier.
