White Tea Bergamot Freesia(2011)

Created by Jean-Claude Ellena, then in his final years as Hermes's celebrated in-house perfumer, for the Greek natural-cosmetics house Korres, White Tea Bergamot Freesia opens on bergamot, tangerine, and neroli, moves through a heart of freesia, tea, and cyclamen, and closes on cotton flower, musk, and oakmoss. Ellena's involvement with an accessibly priced pharmacy-rooted brand was notable given his usual work for Hermes's considerably more expensive catalog, and the fragrance remains one of Korres's best-known releases.
