Une Rose(2013)

Created by Edouard Flechier for Frederic Malle's Editions de Parfums, Une Rose moves through a heart of raw, unsweetened rose and closes on beeswax and metallic notes. Its deliberately unglamorized treatment of rose, stripped of the sweetening and softening typically applied to the material, aims to render the flower's raw, almost vegetal facets alongside a cold, metallic edge, distinguishing it sharply from more conventional, softened rose compositions.
