Olympea Eau de Parfum(2015)

Created by Dominique Ropion for Paco Rabanne, Olympea opens on green mandarin and ginger flower, moves through a heart of salty vanilla, jasmine, and orange blossom, and closes on sandalwood, cashmere wood, and ambergris. Its distinctive salty-vanilla accord, an unusual pairing of oceanic minerality with sweet gourmand warmth, became one of the most commercially significant feminine fragrances of the mid-2010s, its goddess-themed marketing and warm ambergris-vanilla structure widely imitated across subsequent mainstream releases.
