Nuit de Tubereuse(2011)

Created by Bertrand Duchaufour for L'Artisan Parfumeur, Nuit de Tubereuse opens on bergamot and blackcurrant, moves through a heart of tuberose, jasmine, and osmanthus, and closes on benzoin, musk, and tea. Its dark, smoky, almost gothic tuberose structure, built with tea and benzoin rather than the material's more common creamy-sweet treatment, made it one of the more distinctive tuberose compositions in niche perfumery, offering a nocturnal counterpart to brighter tuberose fragrances like Fracas and Carnal Flower.
