Created by Olivier Polge for Chanel, this variant of No. 5 opens on lemon, mandarin, orange, neroli, and aldehydes, moves through a heart of rose, ylang-ylang, and jasmine, and closes on cedarwood and white musk, offering the lightest, most citrus-forward reinterpretation yet of Ernest Beaux's foundational 1921 aldehydic structure, marking one of Olivier Polge's first major projects after succeeding his father as Chanel's in-house perfumer.
