A green chypre-adjacent composition from Givenchy's in-house perfumers, opening on bergamot, lemon, and basil, moving through a heart combining oakmoss with jasmine and carnation, and closing on vetiver, oakmoss, and leather. Its basil-and-oakmoss opening gives it an herbal, slightly bitter freshness distinct from the sweeter florals of Givenchy's L'Interdit released two years earlier, positioned instead as the house's own entry into sophisticated masculine perfumery.
