Loulou(1987)

Created by Jean Guichard for Cacharel, Loulou opens on bergamot, plum, and heliotrope, moves through a heart of tuberose, jasmine, and carnation, and closes on vanilla, sandalwood, and tonka bean. Its dark purple bottle and dense, powdery-sweet plum-tuberose structure marked a deliberate departure from Cacharel's earlier, softer Anais Anais, offering a bolder, more mysterious femininity, and it became one of the most recognizable oriental florals of the late 1980s.
