Light Blue(2001)

Dolce & Gabbana · Olivier Cresp · Floral

At a glance

Created by Olivier Cresp for Dolce & Gabbana, Light Blue opens on Sicilian lemon, apple, and bellflower, moves through a heart of bamboo, jasmine, and white rose, and closes on cedarwood, musk, and amber. Its bright, effortless Mediterranean-summer character, matched by advertising imagery of the Italian coast, made it one of the best-selling feminine fragrances of the 2000s, its crisp citrus-woody template still widely imitated across mainstream summer fragrance releases.

simple but it just works. sicilian lemon + apple over a clean musk base. not complex at all but it's a solid go-to for summer
