La Nuit de l'Homme(2009)

Created by Anne Flipo for Yves Saint Laurent, La Nuit de l'Homme opens on cardamom and bergamot, moves through a heart of lavender and cedar, and closes on vetiver, tonka bean, and caraway. Its warm, spiced, seductive structure, built around an unusually prominent cardamom note, became one of the most commercially successful masculine fragrances of its era, its evening-oriented, confidently sensual character widely imitated across subsequent men's releases.
