Wallflower's warm, clove-adjacent scent made the clove opening a natural pairing, reinforcing the flower's own spicy facets rather than masking them. It continues Houbigant's extensive run of single-flower showcases through the early 1920s, part of the house's steady commercial output beneath its more historically celebrated fougere and abstract-bouquet creations.
