Iris Silver Mist(2003)

Created by Maurice Roucel for Serge Lutens, Iris Silver Mist opens on galbanum and clove, moves through a heart of iris and cedar, and closes on incense, musk, and sandalwood. Built around an exceptionally high concentration of orris butter, one of perfumery's most expensive raw materials, it is widely regarded as one of the most extreme, uncompromising iris compositions ever released, still cited by perfumers and enthusiasts as the definitive reference for cold, earthy, root-like iris construction.
