Honeysuckle(1937)

A honeysuckle soliflore from Houbigant, opening on bergamot before the honeysuckle heart, closing on musk and woods. Honeysuckle's sweet, nectar-like natural scent made it a popular subject for single-flower showcases throughout the interwar period, though like several other delicate garden flowers, natural extraction remained difficult and the note was often substantially reconstructed synthetically.
