Fahrenheit(1988)

Created by Jean-Louis Sieuzac for Christian Dior, Fahrenheit opens on nutmeg flower, lavender, and cedar, moves through a heart of violet leaf, sandalwood, and carnation, and closes on leather, vetiver, and musk. Its unusual combination of a distinctly petrol-like, waxy synthetic accord with violet leaf and leather produced a genuinely novel, often-debated masculine profile unlike anything preceding it, and Fahrenheit remains one of the most technically distinctive and frequently discussed men's fragrances of the late 20th century.
