Cristalle(1969)

Created by Henri Robert for Chanel, Cristalle opens on bergamot, lemon, and green notes, moves through a heart of jasmine, ylang-ylang, and honeysuckle, and closes on oakmoss and vetiver. Its crisp, citrus-chypre structure, built without the aldehydic overdose that defined No. 5 and No. 19, offered a lighter, more transparent style within Chanel's catalog, closer in spirit to Guerlain's Eau Sauvage. Cristalle remains part of Chanel's historic lineup, valued for its clean, sophisticated freshness.
