Created by Jacques Polge for Chanel, Coco Mademoiselle opens on orange, bergamot, and mandarin, moves through a heart of rose, jasmine, and litchi, and closes on patchouli, vetiver, vanilla, and white musk. Conceived as a fresher, more youthful counterpart to Coco, it became one of Chanel's most commercially significant fragrances of the 21st century, its patchouli-vanilla oriental-chypre structure widely regarded as a defining scent for a new generation of Chanel wearers.
