Chance(2002)

Created by Jacques Polge for Chanel, Chance opens on pink pepper, pineapple, and lemon, moves through a heart of jasmine, hyacinth, and iris, and closes on patchouli, amber, musk, and vetiver. Its bright, spiced-fruity-floral structure offered a playful, spontaneous counterpart to Chanel's more classical catalog, and it became one of the house's most commercially significant fragrances of the 2000s, eventually spawning numerous flanker editions.
