Black Orchid Voile de Fleur(2007)

Created by David Apel for Tom Ford, this lighter floral variant of Black Orchid opens on ylang-ylang and black currant, moves through an elaborate heart of gardenia, plum, orchid, lily, pepper, and honeysuckle, and closes on milk, fruity notes, resins, vanilla, patchouli, sandalwood, and cinnamon, offering a softer, more transparent reinterpretation of the original's dense gourmand-oriental structure.
