Azzaro pour Homme(1978)

Created by Gerard Anthony and Richard Wirtz for Azzaro, Azzaro pour Homme opens on lavender, lemon, caraway, basil, and star anise, moves through a heart of vetiver, sandalwood, patchouli, and cardamom, and closes on oakmoss, leather, amber, musk, and tonka bean. Its dense, anise-accented fougere structure is widely regarded as one of the defining masculine fragrances of the late 1970s, still cited by perfumers as a benchmark for classical fougere construction.
