Anais Anais(1978)

Created by Paul Leger for Cacharel, Anais Anais opens on green notes and hyacinth, moves through a heart of lily, jasmine, muguet, and orange blossom, and closes on sandalwood, musk, and vanilla. Its soft, innocent, white-floral character and romantic, doubled-name title, along with its dreamy, painterly advertising imagery, made it one of the defining fragrances associated with youthful, romantic femininity in the late 1970s. Anais Anais became enormously commercially successful and remains one of Cacharel's most historically significant releases.
