The Darkest Bloom(2019)

4160 Tuesdays

At a glance

The aroma of dahkai, a mythical flower with almost magical healing powers from P.M. Freestone's YA duology Shadowscent, created after the author visited the house's Hammersmith studio and spent a day smelling materials with Sarah to capture the same imagined scent. Citrus, apricot and blackcurrant top notes with mandora essential oil, buchu and an apricot aromatic blend, deepened with styrax, opoponax and labdanum, plus cruelty-free musks and sustainable wood replacements.
