Clove, extract, acetylated

Acetylated clove extract, chiefly eugenyl acetate, is produced by acetylating eugenol from Syzygium aromaticum (clove) buds; it gives a sweet, warm, spicy‑fruity clove scent used for gourmand and oriental accords.
