Santa Maria Novella(est. 1221)

Founded in Florence in 1221 by Dominican friars as a monastery apothecary, opened to the public in 1612. Widely cited as the world's oldest pharmacy still operating, it still makes historic formulas today, including Acqua della Regina (1533).
