Created by Francis Fabron for Jean-Charles Brosseau, Ombre Rose, Pink Shadow, opens on bergamot and aldehydes, moves through a heart of rose, violet, and iris, and closes on sandalwood, musk, vanilla, and heliotrope. Its powdery rose-violet-heliotrope structure produces a soft, nostalgic femininity, and the fragrance is frequently associated with its distinctive frosted pink bottle, nearly as iconic as the scent itself among mid-century French perfumery collectors.
