Created by Calice Becker for Christian Dior, J'Adore opens on bergamot, pear, melon, and ylang-ylang, moves through a heart of jasmine sambac, rose de mai, orchid, and mimosa, and closes on musk, amaranth wood, and cedarwood. Becker built the fragrance around an unusually smooth, seamless floral bouquet with no single dominant note, aiming for a luminous, golden transparency matched by its distinctive amphora-shaped bottle. J'Adore became one of the most commercially successful feminine fragrances ever released and remains part of Dior's core catalog more than two decades later, still cited as a benchmark for modern radiant floral construction.
