Created by Christine Nagel for Christian Dior, Miss Dior Cherie opens on mandarin and strawberry leaves, moves through a heart of caramel popcorn, strawberry sorbet, violet, and pink jasmine, and closes on patchouli and crystalline musk. Its playful, candy-shop gourmand structure, complete with an actual caramel popcorn accord, marked a significant departure from the more classical Miss Dior lineage and helped define the flirtatious, youth-oriented gourmand-fruity genre of the mid-2000s.
