A floral-oriental composition from Jacques Guerlain, opening on bergamot and peach, moving through a heart of jasmine, rose, and lilac, and closing on sandalwood, musk, and vanilla. Named for the tragic servant-heroine of Puccini's opera Turandot, which had premiered in 1926, the fragrance reflects Guerlain's ongoing practice of drawing names from literature, mythology, and contemporary opera. Its peach-jasmine-vanilla structure sits within the same general fruity-floral-oriental territory as several of Guerlain's 1920s compositions.
