It opens with basil, pimento, mace, cassis, mandarin orange and magnolia, moves into angelica, immortelle, clary sage, cardamom, pepper, rose, freesia and rose oxide and settles on incense, vetiver, olibanum, birch, guaiac wood, cedar, amber and patchouli.
