What it smells like

Guaiac wood smells smoky, sweet and slightly tarry, like burning wood, tea and warm resin with a soft, almost violet-like powdery facet. It feels dry, elegant and a little mysterious. It appears in the base to add a smoky, leathery warmth. It pairs well with leather, vetiver, patchouli, sandalwood and rose.
