Terre d'Hermes(2006)

Created by Jean-Claude Ellena for Hermes, Terre d'Hermes opens on orange and grapefruit, moves through a heart of pepper and pelargonium, and closes on cedar, vetiver, and benzoin. Ellena built the fragrance around a distinctive mineral, almost metallic woody-citrus accord meant to evoke the smell of earth itself, and it became one of the most commercially significant and influential masculine fragrances of the 21st century, still widely regarded as a benchmark for modern woody-citrus construction.
