First made for a university research project: the aroma of 350 years of accumulated books along an old stone corridor, carved oak doors opening onto wood, leather, incense, pipe tobacco and oil lamps. It carries the vanilla aroma of old pages, since paper made from wood degrades from lignin to vanillin over time.
