What it smells like

Tequila has a boozy sharp top followed by a cooked agave that feels green, grassy, with a green‑olive and briny edge. It carries a peppery bite, citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit, and a mineral wet‑cement earth underneath. A faint smoky, vanilla sweetness rounds it off. Perfumers use it as a heart note in green‑mineral or peppery accords, adding a dry vegetal bite reminiscent of gin without the resin.
