Paradisone is Firmenich's 1993 trade name for a purified, more powerful isomer of methyl dihydrojasmonate -- the same jasmonate family as Hedione. Nicknamed "Hedione HC," it gives a cleaner, more radiant jasmine-floral effect than standard Hedione.
